You start this camel trip in the morning. The caravan and your guides, Sahrawi nomads, will slowly move into the desert. At noon, enjoy lunch in the shade of tamarisks.

The hike in the Moroccan desert will continue the afternoon by crossing a desert plateau before arriving at the dunes of Sidi Naji. The wild camping will be mounted at the foot of the dunes for the first night of your Morocco trekking tour.

Discover Sidi Naji and the dunes of Erg Bougarn

The second day of your Morocco camel trekking tour is starting in the morning. After enjoying breakfast in the desert, once the bivouac folded, the Morocco camel trekking continues. You go for about 2h to 2h30 of walk in the morning and the same duration in the afternoon. You leave the dunes of Sidi Naji and continues your Sahara camel trip.

You admire the landscapes that open in front of you until you arrive at Erg Bougarn. In the evening, enjoy the beautiful sunset. Savour a delicious dinner around a campfire and overnight in nomadic tents or under the stars.

Sahara Camel trekking from Oued Draa to Erg Smar

The third day of your Morocco Sahara trekking tour will take you from the dunes of Bougarn to Oued Drâa.

The tamarisks and palm groves follow one another. At the end of the day, you will arrive at Erg Smar. 

You install the wild camp on the foot of the dunes for the overnight. The starry sky in the desert is magic.

From Erg Smar to Erg Zahar “the screaming dunes”

After spending the night at Erg Smar, towards the dunes of Erg Zahar!

On the fourth day of your Morocco camel trekking tour from M’hamid, you will discover the splendid “screaming” dunes unveil the desert as far as the eye can see … Could you hear the sound that the dunes produce in contact with the wind? Enjoy a hike in the dunes and the beautiful landscapes. 

You have the chance to spend the overnight here in a Sahara wild camp. 

Discover Erg Zmila

The caravan will continue its journey through the desert. After Erg Zahar, your Morocco camel trek continues. Your Sahara trekking tour will take you to Erg Zmila. A new landscape is emerging in front of you. The light plays with the colors of the dunes. You will spend your last night in the Sahara desert here. The next day, it will be time to return to M’hamid.  

You will see another incredible landscapes of the Sahara. 

Erg Zmila – back to M’hamid

In the morning, after breakfast, you start your Sahara trekking from Erg Zmila in the direction of M’hamid.

The caravan moves slowly in the desert. Hiking in the Sahara during the morning. 

You enjoy a lunch in the desert before arrive in M’hamid in the afternoon.
