Day 1
Sahara trekking Morocco – M’hamid – Oued Ben Hakki – Lahnaniche
Your Sahara camel trekking in the desert of Morocco begins in the morning with a walk to Oued Ben Hakki.
The camel caravan will advance through the dunes of the Sahara. You can admire surrounding landscape, the calm, the silence. After Wadi Ben Hakki, the caravan continue on its way to Lahnaniche.
Visit of the old Kasbah of M’hamid. Discover the Kasbah during a break in your Sahara camel trek in the Moroccan desert. You are invited to share a cup of traditional tea with the inhabitants of the M’hamid Palm Grove. The first night, you will sleep in a wild camp in the Sahara desert.
Day 2
Sahara trekking Morocco – Lahniniche – Sidi Naji
The second day of your Morocco camel trekking in the desert will make you discover new desert landscapes.
The camel trek continues in the middle of the dunes, with nomads, your faithful companions for this hiking in the Moroccan desert. The Ergs (dunes) and regs (hamadas) follow each other. Further away, you can see the Kraab mountain range located on the Algerian border.
The Sahara wild camping for the overnight is installed not far from the tomb of Sidi Naji, a place of pilgrimage for the tribe of Naji.
Day 3
Sahara desert trek – Sidi Naji – Erg Zahar
On the third day, the caravan continues its way to the big dunes. You enjoy a Sahara hike before reaching the beautiful dunes of Erg Zahar to admire the sunset. In the morning, you will enjoy 2 hours to 3 hours of trekking in the Sahara desert.
In the afternoon, the Sahara camel trek continues, crossing the Grand Reg Lawtid, characterized by a very flat ground. Overnight in a tent at Erg Zehar. Enjoy dinner around a campfire.
Day 4
Erg Zahar – M’hamid
After the overnight at Erg Zehar, on the next day your trekking in the Sahara desert come to end. You go back to Mhamid El Ghizlane. Arrival in the village in the afternoon.
